What is the total number of seats offered for the HPCET?

HPCET 2022 seat allotment process for every consecutive stage will be based on the availability of seats after the previous stage will be over. This round of HPCET 2022 counselling will be conducted via the JEE Main 2022 score. 50% of the seats are filled via this process. All India Quota (AIQ) Seats15% of total sanctioned seats HP State Quota (HPSQ) Seats65% of total sanctioned intake (including one seat under Beti Hai Anmol Scheme of single girl child of Himachal domicile only in each Institution within the sanctioned intake) Seats for Non-Resident Indian (s)5% of the total sanctioned intake subject Management Seats in Private Institutions only15% of total sanctioned intake in under-graduate courses only Supernumerary Seats Tuition Fee Waiver Seats Foreign National / Persons of Indian Origins (PIO) / Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries Kashmir Migrant5% of the sanctioned intake per course, subject to fulfilment of AICTE norms 15% of the sanctioned intake per course in each institution, subject to fulfilment of AICTE norms 2 seats in each institution Lateral Entry Seats20% over and above the sanctioned intake. The seats available under Himachal Pradesh State Quota (HPSQ) are further divided according to vertical reservation criteria and horizontal reservation criteria. These divisions are based on minority categories and other special categories. The HPSQ has 65% of total sanctioned seats and this also includes one seat under Beti Hai Anmol Scheme. This scheme is for female candidates who are single child of their parents and have a valid Himachal Pradesh state domicile. Under this scheme, one seat is reserved for such eligible candidates in each institution.
