A Scheduled Tribe (ST) student in Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) pays no tuition fees, which means they are fully exempt from paying tuition due to government reservation policies.
    Key Points to Remember:
SC and ST students receive a 100% tuition waiver at all IITs.
Additional costs may apply: While tuition is waived, students may still be required to pay other costs such as dormitory rates, test fees, and other incidental expenditures.
Income requirements are not applied. This fee remission is applicable regardless of the student's household income.
