They need to adapt their plans according to budget constraints, environmental factors or client needs. Typical job roles include: 1)creating building designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand and by using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) applications 2)working closely with a team of other professionals such as building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors and architectural technologists 3)applying for planning permission and advice from the governmental new build and legal departments 4)writing and presenting reports, proposals, applications, contracts and specifying the requirements for the project 5)adapting plans according to circumstances and resolving any problems that may arise during construction Challenges: 1) The field is very competitive and only skilled people can have a good career. 2) One needs to update with the latest inventions and techs to sustain. 3) Most architects would not be paid well due to the economic reasons. 4) One needs to have many skills to be successful.
