Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too.

LPU is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). UGC is a statutory body of the Government of India that maintains, determines and coordinates the standards of university education in the country which falls under section 2 (f) of the UGC ACT 1956. The university is also recognised by other accreditation also like National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and the Council of Architecture (COA) and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
