What is the University of Leicester Acceptance Rate?

<p>The university has a fairly decent <strong>acceptance rate of 71.4%.</strong> This means that the university is not that selective about its admission process. The admissions committee considers other measures of merit and ability to excel, such as proof of personal initiative or teamwork skills when choosing between candidates with broadly comparable credentials. While making admission decisions, admissions tutors are mindful of cultural diversity and the various resources available to candidates to show their abilities.</p><p>For some programs, admissions offers may depend upon satisfactory performance during the interview round. In addition, for some subjects, there is a requirement to sit an admissions test, the results of which will influence the selection process.
