The UP BEd JEE exam is conducted for admission to BEd programs for students to get into various universities and colleges across Uttar Pradesh. The UP BEd JEE consists of two separate question papers. The separate question papers are know as 'Paper I and Paper II'. The exam is of 400 marks in total for both papers and held for 3 hours per paper in the form of Multiple Choice Questions.

As per the UP BEd JEE exam pattern, there are two question papers each containing objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Paper 1 is General Knowledge, Language (English/Hindi), while Paper 2 consists of General Aptitude Test, Subject Knowledge (Arts/Science/Commerce/ Agriculture). Combining both papers, there are 200 questions and the total marks is 400. There is a negative marking in the exam and 1/3rd marks will be deducted as minus marking.
