    There is no upper age limit for GATE exam and an applicant can give GATE unlimited times, but every result of each attempt is valid for 3 years only after its result date.

    No, there is no age limit in GATE exam. Let me tell you about the eligibility criteria of GATE exam. The following students are eligible to take GATE:
    Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering / Technology / Architecture (4 years after 10+2/ Post-Diploma) and those who are in the final year of such programs. Master's degree holders in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final year of such programs. Candidates in the second or higher year of Four-year integrated master's degree programs in Engineering / Technology. Candidates in the fourth or higher year of Five-year

    There is no minimum or upper age limits for GATE exam. Further, there is not restriction on number of attempts for GATE exam.

No, a duplicate GATE 2026 admit card will not be provided at the test center. Candidates must carry their own admit card along with the mentioned documents and items to the GATE exam center. IIT Guwahati will release the GATE admit card on January 2.

Candidates will get only one scribble pad at a time. They must write their name and registration number before using it. If the rough sheet gets filled, then they can ask for another one scribble pad after returning the previous one to the invigilator. After the exam concludes, candidates must return the scribble pad to the invigilator.
