What is the use of engineering in daily life?

They keep us healthy by cleaning our water and creating medical machinery. Engineers need to understand how the world works; that way they can improve their environment by creating machines and designing new ways of doing things. Engineering is a big part of the world around us. Many activities and gadgets that we see on a daily basis were worked on by engineers.
