What is the validity of REET certificate?

  • The REET Certificate was earlier valid for three years. The Rajasthan Cabinet led by CM Ashok Gehlot on March 12, 2022 extended the REET Certificate validity from three years to a lifetime according to the new guidelines of NCTE. Though the REET Certificate is valid for lifetime, the candidates are allowed to take the REET exam to upgrade their scores. The REET exam is taken every year for the candidates to become eligible for teaching or upgrade their scores. After qualifying for the REET exam the candidates will become eligible for the recruitment exam.
