The CTET certificate is valid for lifetime, with effect from the year 2011. This applies to anyone who passed the CTET exam in 2011 or later.

CTET Certificate is valid for a lifetime. CBSE provides Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET mark sheets to all candidates who appear for the exam and eligibility certificates to all candidates who clear the exam. Candidates can get their CTET certificates in Digital Format from their DigiLocker accounts.

The Ministry of Education has extended the validity of the Central Teacher Evaluation Test CTET from 7 years to a lifetime. This step, as well as the National Professional Standards for Teacher (NPST), will help improve the teaching profession.
