What is the validity of TOEFL test? I have it in 2016 and want to apply for Masters in physiotherapy in Canada for fall 2019.

Since the validity of TOEFL is 2 years, I wanted to know if I can use these marks as I will be applying by the end of this year, which will be two years within the application process.

TOEFL scores are valid for 2 years after the test date and there is no limit to the number of times you can take the test, but you cannot take it more than once in a 12-day period. If you appeared for the test in 2016, I do not think that the score will be valid in 2019, as it has passed the 2-year validity mark. Regards.

There are no limits on the number of attempts to take the TOEFL test. One can take test as many time as they wants. But there should be a 3 days gap for booking the next test date.
