The Veterinary Council of India (VCI) exam refers to the All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT), now replaced by NEET-UG for BVSc admission. However, VCI conducts licensing and registration processes for veterinary graduates.

For foreign Veterinary graduates, the VCI conducts a qualifying exam to assess their knowledge before allowing them to practice in India. Registration with VCI is essential for legal Veterinary practice across the country.
