    In the JEE Mains exam, the weightage for various subjects is as follows:

    1. Physics: 33% of the total marks
    2. Chemistry: 33% of the total marks
    3. Mathematics: 33% of the total marks

    Each of these subjects has an equal weightage of around 100 marks in the total of 300 marks for the exam. The paper is divided into two sections (A and B) in each subject:

    • Section A consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
    • Section B consists of numerical value-based questions.
