    Hello Kafeel,
At present, no weightage is given to any of your 10, 12 or graduation marks in the final selection for admission in FMS. Only your CAT score and your score in the interview and extempore round is considered. Also, your past academic scores do not have any impact on the specialisation you want to opt for.

If you get a good percentile in CAT, near about 90+ then you can make for it even top colleges and then they don't care for other marks. So, prepare hard for it and give your best.

Their is no such weightage for academic scores. What matters is your CAT score. So try to get 98+%, so that you stand a chance. Good luck.

No weightage given to your 10 or 12th or graduation marks. OnlY wieghtage is given to the CAT score. Less score in graduation or in 12th will not effect on choosing specialization.
graduation marks are only needed for filling the CAT exam criteria.

ssc,hsc and grad marks have equal weight age. Your Cat score and gdpi scores will be added and cumulative total will decide your final admissions.
  • Dear Kafeel,
Your academic scores don't carry any weightage in the admission criteria. Lower grades do not affect you on choosing specialization.
