IFS officer deals with the external affairs which includes diplomatic relations, trades, etc. Nothing is easy as both have lot of responsibility, but IAS is difficult to get in comparison to ifs in UPSC result cutoff. IAS is the link between the government and people. So, in one way, we can say IAS
