    Hi Keerthi, XAT exam tests your decision making abilities, working under pressure and deadlines, the ability to capitalize on one's strengths.The exam is of two hours.
    Do not get demoralized or disheartened by statistics which says that out of 250 students only 1 is able to crack exam.Maintain a cool head. Studying all topics, practicing quantitative problems is of utmost importance. This builds up your speed and analytical skills and confidence to crack the exam. Work towards your strong and weak areas. Do not spend time on a question from an area you are not comfortable with and utilize that time to get points from a section you know

    XAT is of 140 minutes and includes 200 objective type questions and an essay of 250-300 words. There are 80 questions in English, 60 in Reasoning and Quantitative Ability, and 60 in General Awareness. Data Interpretation book and Verbal & Non verbal reasoning book by R.S. Agarwal are quite popular for CAT and XAT preparation. Keep reading Economic Times and Times of India as well as editorials of Hindu and Indian Express.
