Kakatiya University was established in 1976 and is located in Warangal. The University is accredited with ‘A’ grade by NAAC. The university has a network of 11 constituent colleges with 28 departments. Kakatiya University is one of the 21 state universities which has been granted autonomy by UGC. The university provides 100+ programmes at UG and PG level in the Faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce and Business Management, Social Sciences, Education, Engineering and Pharmaceutical Sciences with 180 constituent and affiliated colleges spread over four districts of Telangana, India.
