Maharaja sayajirao University of Baroda is one of the most historical University of Gujarat. It is only University in Gujarat who's medium of instruction is English for all the courses. The main building, Faculty of Arts is designed in the Indo-Saracenic style by the famous architect, Robert Fellowes Chisholm. The Maharaja sayajirao university began its first class with Arts and Science Departments.
