What is unique about Manipal School of Arch & Planning?

<p>The Manipal School of Architecture &amp; Planning was absorbed by Bangalore University in 1980 and renamed the Department of Architecture. Later, in October 2003, MAHE (Manipal Academy of Higher Education) renamed the department the Faculty of Architecture, which was later renamed Manipal School of Architecture &amp; Planning (MSAP) in April 2018. MSAP was established in 2010 as the 22nd institute of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education in Manipal, India. The Manipal School of Architecture &amp; Planning (MSAP) offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Architecture, Urban Design, Interior Design, Fashion Design &amp; Management, and Sustainable Design. It has been recognised for academic excellence and is ranked highly among architecture schools in India. It is ranked second among all top private architecture colleges by IIRF-2023. Outlook-ICARE ranked it third among all private colleges in 2022, while NIRF 2021 ranked it 18th among the top architecture schools in the country. Furthermore, Outlook-ICARE, a weekly news magazine, ranked MSAP as the second best private college in India, and India Today ranked it as the ninth best architectural college in India. MSAP is a member of the Council of Architecture (CoA) and an Institutional Member of the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) in New Delhi, India.</p>
