    Situated in the foothills of the Himalayas, in Ravangla, South Sikkim, NIT Sikkim is approximately 2100 feet above sea level. For those who enjoy the mountains, the summertime and wintertime temperatures are both very comfortable. The campus offers a stunning view of Mt. Kachenjunga. The snow-covered mountain range is visible. The next thing that feels like heaven is the fog and the middle of the campus that you pass every time. The snowfall that falls on campus in January and February is an incredible event.

    The uniqueness of NIT Sikkim is uncountable and mesmerizing. I am writing some key points below:

    1. NIT Sikkim is situated in ravangla, south Sikkim i.e. almost 2100+ ft above the sea level in the lap of Himalayas.
    2. The weather is very pleasant during summers and too could in winters which is good for the people who love mountains.
    3. The view of Mt. Kachenjunga from the campus is breathtaking. You can see the mountains range covered with snow.
    4. Next thing is the fog and midst crossing the campus everytime which feels like heaven.
