The University of Wroclaw is the largest institution of higher learning in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, with over 100,000 graduates since 1945, including some 1,900 researchers, among them over 200 professors. The university has a rich history of more than three centuries. Today, it is the largest university in the region and teaches over 26,000 students and around 1300 doctoral students at 10 faculties.
