India’s fourth President, Varahagiri Venkata Giri, was an alumnus of University College Dublin. This scholarship is granted in his honour to successful applicants from India who are eligible to pursue a full-time course here. This covers around 50 to 100% of the students' tuition costs. More information on the same can be found on the university’s Global Excellence Scholarship page.

Once you have submitted the University College Dublin application, the university tries to send out an application decision really fast. Typically, they notify the students within 2 to 6 weeks

For some of the more competitive programs, this wait time might be longer. To make sure that you get the decisions on time, it is important to submit a complete application.
