What is VFX? What is the scope of this field?

Visual effects using computer-generated imagery have recently become accessible to the independent filmmaker with the introduction of affordable and easy-to-use animation and compositing software. VFX experts is not a very popular career in India as in international markets. VFX industry in India is growing. There is an anticipated growth in the field due to demands for special effects in the film industry and graphics for mobile technologies. In general, talented Visual Effects experts who have the right technical skills and artistically endowed are much in demand and are paid handsomely. Incidentally, the film industry is the largest and best-paying for VFX experts. Most of the VFX experts work as freelancers but specialist firms hires permanent staff. All the best.

VFX is an abbreviation of Visual Effects. VFX stands for visual effects, which is a way of mixing real film shooting with false or animated images in simple terms. Job roles of VFX artists: This work can include creating animations or fixing up details for television shows, commercials, feature films, and other film media. The job usually involves following instructions from a client or supervisor and may not allow for the possibility of much personalized input. Some of the job profiles would include: 1) VFX artists 2) Production coordinators 3) Faculty / Trainer 4) Graphic designers 5) Animation artists 6) Compositors 7)3D, 2D modeling and Animators 8) Roto artists 9) Video artists 10) Art directors Pay scale: One can expect an initial salary of Rs. 20,000- Rs.25,000 per month. It would go up to a lakh or a couple of lakhs after gaining a good amount of work experience.

In film-making, visual effects are the processes by which imagery is created and all manipulated outside the context of a live-action shot. Type the effects in your favorite image search engine website and you will see some examples similar to this. Visual effects involve the integration of live-action footage and generated imagery to create an environment which looks realistic, but it would be otherwise impractical to capture own film due to additional expense, danger to the casting crew or the fact that these environments simply don't exist. As in many films about science fiction and comic book adaptations. With the advancement in computing technology and software such as Cinema 4D and After Effects, creating visual effects has become accessible to all. VFX has changed from being the final layer of gloss to an integral part of the story and style of modern day films and TV shows. Visual FX has a very good prospect in post-production studios working on entertainment applications like movies, TV commercials, etc. Companies like PRIME FOCUS, RELIANCE MEDIA WORLD, PIXION, etc. are doing great work in these areas. No one could guarantee you a job but yourself by developing your skills to match the expectations of the industry. The industry is currently looking for skills in software like Boujou, Mocha, Fusion, Aftereffects, Combustion, Nuke, Photoshop, etc. VFX is a really good field with good prospects. In this, you have career opportunities to work as a compositor and clean-up artist, roto artist, color corrector. If you are really into it, try to get attached to someone who already in this field or start working in this field.

VFX is known as Visual Effects and it is a process of generation of imagery to create environments which look realistic on screen. It is just a Computer generated effects which makes something eye-catching and amazing. This may sometime be dangerous and expensive. VFX makes different feeling and bring all the imaginations true and realistic. In general language, VFX is the mixing of Real world with the virtual world that exist only in the mind. It consist of many type, such as Digital effects or FX, Motion capture or Mo- Cap, animation and some other types. By doing this course, one can get good salary job mainly in Film making, because now a days, every single film has the use of VFX editing to create these virtual effects. One can easily get job in Adobe, Sparkol, DreamWorks, YouTube, Flipkart, Technicolor, prime focus and many others.
