Queen Mary University of London, QMUL, is a research-intensive university which prides itself on the values of diversity and social mobility. In terms of research quality, the university ranked joint 7th in the UK; the percentage of research evaluated as being internationally excellent or world-leading was at 92%. The students come from over 170 different nationalities and have an exceptionally high number of state school representatives.
