<p>Dear,<br>There is no entrance for B.design- fashion. The eligibility for B.Deisgn(8 semesters) is 60% with English. LPU gives relaxation on the following:<br>1.) 5% to North-East states and Sikkim candidates / Defence Personnel and their Dependents/Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.<br>2) 10% to outstanding Sports Persons (i.e. A/A+ category), Subject to verification from the Selection Committee*.<br>Note:- In the case of both only one relaxation is to be given.<br>You can appear in LPUNEST for a scholarship.<br>To fetch the maximum benefit of the scholarship you are required to take admission before January for the 2025 academic session.</p>

Yes, of course, One can take admission on the basis of last passed out exams (either School or College), irrespective of 10th or 12th or degree. You first need to be clear, which course you would like to pursue, although there are specific requirements as per the different courses offered in Lovely Professional University. It is also important for everyone to understand that for the majority of the courses apart from a few, one has to appear in LPUNEST, as it is the National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programs in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programs and for some of the programme's test is applicable only for a scholarship. LPUNEST Test centers are now in 28 states, 9 Union Territories and also 200 major cities across the country but due to the rise in the daily cases of Covid-19 in different parts of the country, many state governments have put various restrictions to curb the spread of the virus. Considering the scenario of restricted movement and keeping the focus on the safety of the candidates, LPU has extended the option of the Online Remotely Proctored LPUNEST exam from home. There is no Entrance Examination you need to qualify for admission, only eligibility is to pass your class 12th with 50% with English. I am having several friends who had done Fashion Designing course from LPU. In present days, I find they are quite an established professional in the same field. Some of them also do possess their OWN FASHION BRAND as well !! Some of the Unique features I would like to mention about School of Fashion, LPU:- 1. Dear Vishal, As per the information provided on the LPU website, you do not need to clear any exam to get admission in B.Des (Fashion), you may directly get admission if you have a minimum of 50% marks in the 12th class. However, for a scholarship, you may give the LPUNEST exam conducted by LPU. Let me share few points of this programme at LPU. Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. So, as you are interested in B.Design (Fashion) the eligibility for this programme is to Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or UCEED. LPU conducts LPU NEST for all the programmes. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship. For most of the programmes, it serves both the purposes. As per the official website of LPU, the Schedule for LPU NEST has been started for all the programmes for this current session I. e 2021. As far as Scholarship is concerned, the amount of scholarship depends on the fee of the programme, date of admission and performance of the student in LPU NEST.
