After graduation in Economics you can appear for various govt job exams including Civil services, Indian Economic Service, RBI, IBPS, etc. Economics will help you in exam as well as later in your job. Economists are hired by BFSI industries and large Corporates to support their operations and strategic decisions. Government is largest employer in Indian Economics Services, Niti Ayog and RBI etc. Research and acedmics is also a good option. Lot of Economics graduate do MBA to start corporate caree
