There are ample opportunities for you as a reporter or correspondent in leading local and national newspapers. It depends upon skills & finding out opportunities in your area of interest. Mass communication is a big sector nowadays due to exposure of internet and all technologies in media and television, there is surely a wide scope in public media like advertising, event management for a specific ad campaign, channels planning tourism like Travelxp, events, etc. Lots of opportunities are waiting there.

Travel Journalist needs to go out on the field, gather information, and then compile a story. A journalist's job is both physically and mentally demanding. It's a job for people who do not like boredom in their day to day life. They travel the whole world and meet different people.
