Mainly sales and marketing has the hierarchy of Area sales manager, Regional Manager, Country Head, etc. And in marketing, you can be a Brand Manager wherein you'll be responsible for P&L of a brand or a category.

IIMs do not offer any specialization of MBA. Having said that, assuming a guy is placed in a S&M role during placements, he/she usually starts with a stint of ASM (Area sales manager) where he/she leads the sales at a specific location. Most of the companies want you to have 3-4 years of sales exper
