What kind of jobs can I get after completing B.Tech in electrical?

Electrical engineers are employed in operations and maintenance roles in manufacturing and services industry. Electrical Engineers are also employed in power distribution and services companies. Job opportunities for electrical engineers are available in both private and public sector like railways, civil aviation, electricity board and utility companies, electrical design and consultancy firms. Electrical engineers also employed in electrical goods manufacturing companies. Electrical engineers can join Indian engineering services, DRDO, ISO, Defence and paramilitary forces also. Electrical engineers are also employed in teaching and R&D beside working as independent consultant.
