BCAs are eligible for a variety of placements in the IT sector. Students get hired mostly as software developers, system analysts, or IT consultants. The average salary package is INR 3 to 8 Lacs per year for a BCA student. The same would vary on skills and the record of placement from an institution. Some companies recruit students after their graduation. Among the active recruiters of BCA students are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and other start-ups.
