Nidhi, usually pcm otherwise arts with maths. do check the website of the college you wish to join. Design is a field that is age old &has been evolving every year like science. The world has changed a lot and a lot of new & wonderful careers in design have come up. Sometimes student Artists are too

Industrial design needs civil and architectural engg, mechanical engineering or process technology. You can opt any as per your choice. Mechanical engineers have many choices in equipment design, 3D modelling of plants, piping design. It goes on.
