What literature should i read to improve my english my english is very poor

Assuming that you are from a vernacular medium, you can start by reading magazines related to your area of interest. If you share a passion for a particular sport, go through the related articles. There are various aspects of the English Language which you have to look at, as in, fluency, using the right word, mother tongue influence, rate of speech, vocabulary acquisition, knowledge of one word substitutes and idiomatic phrases and intonation. Always keep in mind that the English Language is an ocean by itself. I am making this statement in the capacity of being an English Language Trainer (ELT) for over 20 years. We have to necessarily see ourselves as students of the English Language throughout our life. It is only then that effective learning will happen. You should also look at identifying a person who is fluent in the English Language. Make it a point to converse daily with this person in the English Language and get a feedback. Over a period of time, you will notice a perceptible change. You have to be at it. The day you allow your ego to come in, your learning will stop

I advise you to read modern American Dramatists like Tennessee Williama and Arthur Miller.They are simple and closer to our life. We can understand them and we can improve our English.
