Dear Aspirant, There are a lot of things to share about the pharmacy programmes at LPU. Being alumni of LPU, I would like to share a few of them: LPU is ranked 23rd in Pharmacy school among all public and private universities in India by NIRF ranking 2021 released by the Ministry of Education (MoE). My friend also completed his B.Pharma from LPU and got his license as well to open a pharmacy from the state government. LPU offers pharmacy programmes in a Diploma, Bachelor's, master's, and doctorate. The School of Pharmacy at LPU is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Curriculum: - The curriculum consists of Foundation and core courses. In addition to that, some elective courses like Advanced Instrumentation techniques, Cell &amp; Molecular Biology Computer-Aided Drug Design, Cosmetic Science, Dietary Supplements and Nutraceuticals, Experimental Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Regulatory Science, Pharmacovigilance, Remedial Biology etc. Are also offered in the curriculum. Knowledge Enhancement- Strong emphasis is laid on the theoretical and applied aspects of pharmacy in health care and improvement of human lives. Projects- Capstone project help to develop research aptitude in the field of community health and emerging pharmaceutical industry needs. Workshops- Workshops on Regulatory Affairs (DRA), Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Computer-Aided Drug Designing (CADD), validation, and instrumentation help develop research skills in students. Professional Enhancement- In addition to core curricula, the programme offers subjects like communication, analytical and soft skills to enhance personality and employability. Industrial Visits- Visits to nearby pharmaceutical industries and research institutions as well as guest lectures from industry personnel are an integral part of the curriculum and develop research aptitude in students.
