Even I am pursuing my aeronautical engineering in NMIT college, which is the best college for Aeronautics. So, you are supposed to get the rank below 5k, otherwise you need to go for few more rounds in counseling.

The trend analysis of last year indicates that aeronautical engineering branch was much sought after and hence a higher ranking was required as compared with other branches. However how it pans out this year is anybody's guess. I am attaching a link that will help you in predicting
