What minimum marks do I need to score in VIT entrance exam?

VITEEE - VIT engineering entrance examination is a national level examination conducted by the VIT University for admission Into undergraduate programs at its campuses at Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal and Amaravathi. The Qualifying marks are : 1)General Category- Candidates should have scored an aggregate of 60% in Maths, Physics and Chemistry in 10+2 2)SC, ST, J&K, North Eastern states- Candidates should have scored an average 50% marks in Physics, Maths and Chemistry in 10+2 or its equivalent exam *The exam will be held online only. Though the total marks is 125, you will get admission based on your ranks only. It also depends on the number of candidates and their rankings so that your admission is based on the relative scores only. To get admission, your rank should be at least below 10000 so that you may get a seat at the main campus or a course of your choice. There is a way of admission at VIT University which is called categories. The top tankers could only get category 1 which is the normal fee structure. As the ranks go higher, the students get placed in higher categories where the fee structure increases by 1 lakh for every category. So, it is advisable to get a rank below 10000 or a score like 100 and above. All the best!
