Firstly any number can fall short for admission in IIMA. Candidates with 100 percentile can also get rejected for IIMA if their interview is not up to the standards. Rest, first focus on CAT, once you get the call for interview, you can plan accordingly by strengthening your weak areas and practising via mock interviews as much as possible. Consistency is the key in cracking CAT and interview both.

4 years agoHi,
Normally, a percentile score of above 96 per cent in CAT can get you a call from some of the IIMs. At the top IIMs to be considered for interview and writing ability test, CAT score is taken into account along with marks in class X, class XII and the bachelor's degree course. The cut off depends on the average of the number of students participating in the particular exam. It would be good to apply for the IIMs. You can check IIM Indore , the lowest cut off can go till 50 for general category.
You have not mentioned your score card. You apply for the IIM Indore, IIM Bengaluru.
