The optional subject in UPSC main is one of the important decision to take. Start preparing for the exam first after studying each subject in deep you will get the answer. Your interested subject will be your optional subject.

You can choose any optional subject from the list given in the UPSC syllabus. Choose wisely the subjects as marks in the subject are very important and it is where one can show his full potential and creativity. So choose based on your interest, subject faculty/notes availability.
