What parallel courses can I pursue with a M.Ed for better career prospects and why?

Hello, Master of Education or M.Ed is a two year course that can be done after B.Ed. This gives a person specialisation in techniques of teaching. But unfortunately, it does not give any boost to career though it enhances CV. Of course it enables one to pursue doctorate in education. It is therefore very nice idea to pursue another career enhancing course along with M.Ed. Like for example Post Graduation in original subject. This will enhance career in the sense then one can hope to become teacher of higher classes and also think of becoming principal of a school one day. PG will also enable to become lecturer in a college with higher salary etc. One can also do a course enhancing skills or a course in management. It may not affect directly but indirectly it will surely help in enhancing the career progression.
