Students who have passed 10+2 (any stream) from a recognized board are eligible to pursue NTT course. In short, this course suits those who want to teach pre-primary level students.
Nursery teachers deal with kids who have just stepped into the world of formal education. They play a key role in molding the character, morals and habits of children. Nursery Teacher's Training or NTT is a one year certificate or Diploma course after 10+2 stage. Teaching kids of nursery age is a task in itself. This is really a specialist job. This one year course attempts to impart training this crucial aspect. It is quite an intense course and the duration is just about one year. NTT is one year regular diploma done after 10+2. So, you may look for distance courses in any of the subjects you wish to specialize in like B.A/M.A mathematics, psychology, education, etc. You may also pursue online courses related to education, education management, education technology, etc. from portals like coursera.org, EdX. Another option is IGNOU that offers certificate courses related to psychology, child development, counselling, blended learning, curriculum designing, policy making, subject specific certificate courses are also available. Check few online courses at EdX here:
