Company Secretary is itself a very decorative and highly rewarding career for a candidate. As it is a statutory designation. Any company having a paid up share capital of more than 10 crores has to appoint a full time company secretary as per the Indian Companies Act. However, if an aspiring candidate still wants to pursue any other course, than he/she can also pursue CA, MBA, ICWA or any other suitable course. Combination of CA with CS is like an added feather in the cap. If an aspiring candidate wants to make his/her career into academics then such qualification can prove to be a milestone into the career. I hope this would suffice.
