    The LVPCMS Chennai operates on the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS) pattern, dividing the academic year into six semesters. Each semester consists of 15 weeks of instruction and five weeks for examinations and evaluation. Generally, a week consists of 30 working hours spread across five or six days. The curriculum is carefully crafted to improve students' abilities in visual and photographic perception.
