For placements in BMSCE, a CGPA of 7/10 would do. However, some companies do have a cut-off of 8 or 8.5. So, it is better to have a good CGPA. But placements do not depend on marks alone. Aptitude, personality, knowledge and communication also matters.
    All the best.

Hi dear, if your CGPA is more than 8 point out of 10 you are eligible and if you have better skills then CGPA does not matter.
