What percentage do I need to get admission in software engineering college ?

For NITs you should have a percentile of around 97 percent in JEE mains for open category and for any engineering college in India for a open category student it is mandatory to get a percentile of over 90 to get into software based course in the college.

2 years agoHello Muhammad Jisam, normally speaking students need to be in 90+percentile bracket in any entrance exam for having reasonably good chances of getting this branch. You can download the college predictor for entrance exam. Then keep on feeding different ranksings to check as to at what ranking you stop getting this branch. You must aim for better than this ranking.
