    The eligibility criteria of NITs includes that the applicant must have minimum of 50% in boards with mathematics assignment main subject.

    50% in boards+a decent percentile in JEE paper 2 are considered for admission in NITs. However it varies for various NITs.

    So, the conclusion is that one should have minimum of 50% in boards and should have secured qualifying percentile in JEE main paper 2.

    Here are the minimum percentage in boards required for B.Arch at NITs:

    • Candidates must have secured a minimum of 75% marks in the Class 12th examination (65% for SC/ST category candidates) or should fall under the top 20 percentile of their respective boards.
    • The candidate is also required to pass in each of the subjects of Class 12 / qualifying examination.
    • For B.Arch courses, the candidate must have passed the 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates who have passed the 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggreg
