To be admitted to BHU, applicants must have passed recognised entrance tests such as the CUET-PG, CAT, and BHU PET with legitimate marks. Candidates may be admitted to BHU's BTech programme with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50-75% in class 12. To be admitted to the MBA program, candidates must graduate with at least a 50% aggregate. To find out the precise percentage required, please check the university's official website.

To be eligible for admission to Banaras Hindu University (BHU), candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) for general category candidates. For OBC candidates, there is a relaxation of 5% marks, i.e. they need a minimum of 45% marks. SC/ST candidates require a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate.
