The IIFT 2024 application form was released on October 27, 2023. The last date for application for IIFT MBA 2024-25 has been extended from December 6, 2023 to December 16, 2024. It is to be noted that only online applications are accepted. Application forms are to be filled by candidates by creating a login ID at the institute website.
For NRI candidates the application dates are January 15 to March 15, 2024. The names of shortlisted candidates for the second round of admission will come up on the official website of IIFT in the last week of January 2024.

A 90% attendance to all classes programme wise is required in the MBA IB (full time) course. The waiver of attendance is only provided in case of medical or other emergencies. Hence, The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) kolkata considers punctuality and attendance very important.

Every candidate must decide on the number of mock tests according to their own ability, strengths and weaknesses viz. the IIFT syllabus. However, it is recommended that candidates must practice at least 25-30 IIFT mock tests during exam preparation to reach 99 percentile level.

The best time to start mock test practice is after completing the IIFT syllabus because if you solve mock tests without gaining control over the topics you might face difficulties in many. No, there is no change in IIFT syllabus for the 2024 exam. The exam will have the same pattern and subjects as per the IIFT 2024 exam, i.e. Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation. Candidates can start their exam preparation from March onwards to be able to cover the entire syllabus for the exam. 

The Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension section of IIFT exam has maximum weightage. It carries 35 questions and 105 marks. There is negative marking of -1 in this section.
