For getting a call from IIMs & IITs, you would be required to have your CAT score above 95 percentile. The best IIMs, call students when they have their percentile above 90% or 95%. You have a good academic background so you just need to score your best in CAT rest there is a fair chance that you will get in.

You can give a try. But, chances are less, as percentage of all stages are cumulatively added up to select a candidate. Try to outperform in your GDPI to achieve your goal.

You should target for a percentile of 95+. You will get calls from new IIMs and some IITs even at a percentile of 90.

For getting called by the top IIMs, you have to score 97+ percentile. As you belong to the reserved category, you might have chances in 96 too. Its wholly depends on the cutoff released by the IIM.

Being from OBC category, you need to score 90+ percentile in CAT to get into the IIM. But, still as your scores are not that good, there are chances that you would most probably get the call from new IIMs.

Hi...

I need to clarify first: are you asking about admission to Chandigarh University for B.Tech/B.E, or admission to a medical/paramedical course (like B.Sc Nursing, MBBS, BPT, etc.)

The marks required and exam rules differ a lot depending on the stream.
