What placement opportunities are given to students after completing a law course from Army Institute of Law (AIL) - Punjab?

Army Institute of Law (AIL) - Punjab is among the best law universities after NLUs. They are providing really good placements opportunities for their students and many firms and companies like Trident India (9 lacs+), Wipro (8 lacs+), Pengea 3 ( 5lacs+), OSC Knowledge Center, HDFC Ergo, Legacy Law Mind Merchant, Quislex are coming which are offering average 6 lacs package to the students. The placement cell is really active and it placed 38 out of 40 students of 2014 batch which is 95% of those students who applied for the placements. The highest package offered so far is 16.00 Lac packaged offered in year 2016-17. The number of companies coming in the college are 14,16, 20 in year 2014, 2015 and 2016 respectively and the placement is improving a lot.

Hi there, Well, not every student makes it to the Army Institute of Law, Mohali and thus, it has earned a very good reputation and is considered at par with NLUs .The placements at the institute are quite good and most of the tier 3 law firms and corporate houses including Wipro, Pangea3, Trident, etc. recruit here. Also, the opportunities for Judge Advocate general are also provided as you are trained in manners to crack it. Also, the past placement records and 2017 records show that on campus opportunities are good if not outstanding. Also, the institute has good reputation which would be an advantage while off campus jobs are looked for and also helps in grabbing assessment internships which in turn may help you secure a job. Also, the recruiters are many on campus and beside this you have other options includibg JAG, judiciary litigation, etc.

AIL Mohali is a very well reputed college and, because of its name and reputation, it attracts various well-known firms and lawyers and companies for placement. Being one of the best colleges after NLUs for pursuing law, placement is usually a done deal for students of AIL. The placement cell of AIL is managed and run by the faculty which helps the students in meeting industry challenges and provides assistance to students by managing interactions and relations with firms, companies and lawyers. In the last 5 years, AIL has been known to have a very high placement rate. Firms like Amarchand Mangaldas, Dua Associates, Sai Krishna Associates, have been known to frequent AIL for their placements. In terms of companies, AIL gets the cream with companies like Wipro, HDFC, Trident being frequent recruiters. Even the package offered to students of AIL are pretty decent, with the highest going as high as 12-14 lakhs per annum.

Hi there, The Army Institute of Law is undoubtedly on of the best legal institutions for very long now. The college is known for its well experienced faculty and a great curriculum. The college faculty works real hard for placing students and as a result, the college manages to place almost every student who applies for placement. The placements are touching new heights every year and for the current batch till now 14-15lac has been the highest. Placements at AIL Placements all depends on the capability of a person and till now AIL has performed exceptionally well. In 2011-2012 institute witnessed 100% placement record, in 2012-13 out of 40 people who sat for placements 37 were placed successfully and in 2013-14 out of 40 38 were placed successfully. Average package is 6-8 lakhs and highest for this year is 14 lacs per annum (2016-17) The students also undergo regular internship with reputed Law firms like Jyoti Sagar Associates, Khaitan & Co., Luthra & Luthra, Anand & Anand, Wipro Co., etc who also provide for placements to the students. Hi, Army Institute of Law (AIL) is the preference of most of the students if they are not able to crack the NLUs. The institute offers great support and facilities to students. It also has a good placement record with lot of top companies and firms hiring students from here. For the Batch of 2014, out of 39 students who opted for placements, 38 got placed at several places. The highest package being 9 lakhs and the lowest being 4.5 lakhs. Further, for the Batch of 2015, out of 38 students who opted for placements, all 38 got placed. The lowest and the highest package although remained the same. The number of companies hiring the students increased from 14 to 16. The various law firms and companies that have recruited students are ICICI, Pangea3, Wipro, HDFC, Tata AIG, Mind Crest, Khaitan and Company, Reliance Insurance. The college has great options for students in terms of placements. Hope this helps
