What placement opportunities are given to students after completing a law course from Hooghly Mohsin College?

Hi there, Well, the on campus placements opportunities for law students from Hooghly Mohsin College are nil as of now. However, you can expect to get a degree in law and as the faculties for law are quite experienced owing to their high qualifications. Also, you can expect a good academics. However, the college still doesn’t have separate building for law section and thus lacks in infrastructure facilities as well. Moreover, the course offered is 3years LLB traditional course which again doesn’t attract recruiters. Though you can make your own opportunities after graduation as you may prefer litigation or judicial services or even UPSC and other competitive exams. You won’t get enough on campus but yes certainly after graduation you can expect to build your career. Thus, the college doesn’t offer any placement opportunity on campus as such but yes you get a good degree in law and rest depends on your CV and capabilities to bag jobs.

Hi there, Hooghly Mohsin College of Law is affiliated to Burdwan University. The college provides modern legal education through improved methods of teaching and training of newer skills needed for the profession with well stocked Library, Well equipped lab, Hostel accommodation. Also there is a disciplinary committee consisting of a group of Professors to look after the discipline amongst the students of the college. Hooghly Mohsin College Law has professionally trained and highly qualified faculty. A new approach in teaching methodology focuses on learning through direct experience and original case- studies which makes the students from this college to be very competitive and are open to great career opportunities. Hooghly Mohsin College is a Government College and there is no placement cell. Many students from this college go on for independent practice in various courts. Also few students who wish to work in law firms, corporate offices, public or private sectors, they apply individually and the faculty is very helpful to them.
