Hello,
The college is more of like a traditional university and doesn't provide services like the other private or the National Law Universities. But, being in a city like Kolkata, with lots of big law firms, a student can have the advantage of the location. The past students are currently working the various Courts as successful lawyers, specially in the Calcutta High. Also, the most interesting thing is that you get to do an internship under some amazing lawyers at Calcutta High Court, like Protik Prokash Banerjee (Protik Da). -

7 years agoJogesh Chandra Chaudhary Law College was established in Kolkata in year 1970. The college is quite well known in Kolkata. It has notable alumni in political, academic, sports, etc.
It charges lowest amount as tuitions fees. The college claims to put students as interns in celebrated law firms. Of course, there are many students who do not want to be employed. But, will like to start practicing straight.But placements in themselves after graduation is not very healthy and many students remain unplaced. Jogesh Chandra Chaudhuri Law College is a government aided law college and thus lacks in many things just like many government colleges. The college has a very good faculty though and is experienced and well supportive and cooperative.
Even if the college does not have a dedicated placement cell, it does not mean students do not get placed from this college. If you have good skills and knowledge, you can get a very good place of work.
The past students from this college has got well placed in top law firms, lawyers, LPOs, Public and Private sectors, and as legal advisors with various banks and companies. The faculty here is sup...more
